Who We Are

Menzies Distribution is a time-critical logistics business with more than 50 depot locations across the UK and Ireland.

We specialise in retail delivery, carrying news products and travel brochures to tens of thousands of locations every day, alongside parcel and freight logistics, which we operate throughout Scotland and into the rest of the UK via our partner networks.

Greg Michael
Managing Director

Appointed in January 2017, Greg delivers an extensive track record in third party logistics and distribution to the business. He previously held senior positions in DHL and Deutsche Post and has a very successful track record in managing change.

Greg brings his great experience and creativity to bear on the crucial strategic questions around the evolution of the print media supply chain, and Menzies Distribution’s diversification and growth agenda.

Financial Director

Paul has been the Financial Director of Menzies Distribution for 3 years. Prior to joining Menzies, Paul was Operations, Revenue and Margin Director at Ingenico Northern Europe & Iberia, responsible for all aspects of business performance across 11 countries and generating revenues in excess of €240m per annum. Paul has also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Grant Thornton. These roles involved projects throughout the United States, the Dominican Republic, Mainland Europe and the UK.

Mark Cassie
Operations Director

Mark joined Menzies Distribution in 1984 and held a variety of senior operational roles and branch management positions throughout the organisation before he was appointed to the Board in July 2011.

His role as Operations Director includes looking after our network of branches as well as having direct relationships with our Publisher clients. Prior to Menzies Distribution, Mark trained as a Chartered Surveyor.

Kay Simpson
HR Director

Since joining us in 2007, Kay has shaped our approach to the design and delivery of employee training as Learning and Development Manager; played a pivotal role in shaping our people agenda as Head of HR Operations, introducing HR Business Partners to support our leaders, implementing employee forums, and re-introducing key leadership courses to support skills development; and throughout her Menzies career, has given substantial support to numerous acquisitions and special projects which have helped make the business what it is today.
