Grant Jordan appointed as Chair of the Press Distribution Forum (PDF)

We are pleased to share the news that Grant Jordan (General Manager Newstrade) of Menzies Distribution, has been appointed as Chair of the Press Distribution Forum. Grant has long been involved with the PDF and plays a key role in supporting the Press Distribution Charter together with initiatives to drive more openness with retailer complaints within the supply chain.

What is the Press Distribution Forum (PDF)

The PDF is primarily focused on providing a self-regulated forum for companies involved in the supply and distribution of newspapers and magazines that helps to ensure the continuation of a diverse and plural press with its widespread availability to retailers and consumers.

Grant took up the position on 1st January 2019 and is using his significant industry experience in a career spanning over 30 years in newspaper and magazine supply chain to introduce a fresh platform to give clearer public awareness of retailer complaints and the management of them. Grant said, “We will be working to improve retailer access and understanding of the Press Distribution Charter which will ensure the continued provision of an independent, transparent and properly accountable complaints process.”
